Welcome to chatpost. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our platform. By using chatpost, you're agreeing to these terms, so please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

chatpost is a service provided by Yesterday Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Queensland. When we say "chatpost," "we," "our," or "us" in these terms, we're referring to Yesterday Pty Ltd and the chatpost service.

2. Our Service

chatpost helps you turn voice recordings into professional social media posts and provides audience simulation to predict content performance. We're currently in early development stages, and features may change as we grow.

3. Your Account

To use chatpost, you'll need to create an account. When you do this, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about yourself
  • Keep your password secure
  • Be responsible for all activity on your account
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms.

4. Using chatpost Responsibly

When using chatpost, you agree not to:

  • Break any laws or regulations
  • Use chatpost to create harmful, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Infringe on anyone else's intellectual property rights
  • Upload viruses or malicious code
  • Attempt to break into our systems
  • Use bots or scripts to access our service without our permission
  • Interfere with other users or the proper functioning of our service
  • Generate spam or content that violates platform terms (like LinkedIn's terms)

5. Content Ownership and Responsibility

5.1 Your Content

You own the content you create with chatpost. By using our service, you give us permission to process your content as needed to provide the service (like using your voice recordings to generate posts). We don't claim ownership of your content.

5.2 Content Quality and Accuracy

chatpost uses AI to generate content based on your inputs. While we strive for quality, we can't guarantee that:

  • Generated content will be error-free or completely accurate
  • Content will perform well on social media
  • Posts will always reflect what you intended to say
  • Our audience simulation will perfectly predict real-world performance

You're responsible for reviewing and editing any generated content before publishing it to your social media accounts.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

chatpost may offer both free and paid features:

  • Free features may be limited in quantity or functionality
  • Paid subscriptions will clearly state what you're paying for
  • We'll process payments securely through our payment processors
  • Prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
  • We don't offer refunds except where required by Australian law

7. Our Intellectual Property

The chatpost platform—including our website, logo, code, and algorithms—is owned by us. Using chatpost doesn't give you ownership of any part of our service. You can't copy, modify, or reverse-engineer our service.

8. Service Availability and Changes

As a startup, we're constantly evolving. This means:

  • We may experience occasional downtime or technical issues
  • Features may change, be added, or be removed
  • The service may not always be available 24/7
  • We might discontinue the service with reasonable notice

We'll do our best to keep chatpost running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

9. Important Legal Stuff

9.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

chatpost is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that our service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or operate without interruption.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yesterday Pty Ltd will not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses resulting from your use of chatpost
  • Business losses like lost profits, revenue, or data
  • Any damages arising from content generated by our service

Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

9.3 Indemnification

If your use of chatpost leads to legal claims against us, you agree to defend us against those claims and pay any resulting damages or costs.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or an announcement on our website. Your continued use of chatpost after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using chatpost at any time. We can terminate or suspend your account if we believe you've violated these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
